10-Week Course - Project Management Exam Preparation Certificate Program
This 40 contact hour program provides a comprehensive review of all 9 PM knowledge areas as well as a personalized study plan and test preparation. This intensive certificate program is 10 weeks in length, comprised of two required courses, PM495 and PM501. Sessions held in both East Orlando and in Brevard in September 2012.
Program Overview and Course Outline:
This program in its entirety provides a comprehensive review of all 9 PM knowledge areas as well as test preparation. The focus for the first course, PM 495, is to review content and key terminology specific to PMI. The focus of the second course, PM 501, is test preparation and practice, understanding key terms typically asked during the text as well as how to work through problems and questions using the material covered in PM 495. (Required courses: PM 495 and 501). Program includes instruction, textbooks and supplemental materials which are comprised of 250 PMP type questions, 25 in each knowledge area plus 25 for professional responsibility and ethics. Plus a CD that simulates the PMP exam with over 700 PMP type questions.

Prerequisites:
Due to the intensive nature of the 10 week exam preparation program, participants should have significant project management experience and meet the PMI criteria to sit for the PMP examination. 25-Week Course - Professional Certificate in Project Management
This 100 contact hour program is designed to provide a comprehensive approach to project management's body of knowledge by preparing participants for the PMP Exam and developing practical application for the workplace.

State of the art project management is key in today's competitive business environment and UCF and Seminole State College's professional certificate program is designed to provide the student with a solid foundation, advanced knowledge and the practical skills critical in effective project management practice today. The Professional Certificate in Project Management provides a comprehensive theory to practice approach to the topics of project management, participants will be prepared with the knowledge, skills and tools to pass the PMP exam and will develop practical application for the workplace. This is achieved with five courses in sequence with a combination of lectures, case studies and project simulations.
