Are you seeking job security and a career that’s always in demand? This program, offered in partnership with the National Glass Association (NGA), will give you all the skills you need to begin a lucrative career as an auto glass technician. With the help of an NGA expert, you’ll master everything from basic safety rules to specialized techniques for repairing and replacing auto glass. By the time you’re done, you’ll be fully prepared to take the NGA's Auto Glass Installer Certification Exam.

A 40-hour unpaid internship (where available) is included in the program in order to enhance your career preparation opportunities. In addition, you’ll receive the Auto Glass Technician Manual and a voucher to take the Auto Glass Installer Certification Exam.

Upon registering, you're given an initial six months to complete this program.  Should you need more time beyond the six months, an extension of six months is available at no additional cost.

This program is for you if you’re eager to learn the basics of auto glass repair. You do not need any prior experience or training in this field to participate in this program. You should have an Internet connection and e-mailing capabilities and be familiar with using the Internet.

The Auto Glass Technician Manual is included in the cost of the program, as is the voucher to take National Glass Association's Auto Glass Installer Certification Exam. High-speed Internet is recommended. You will need Windows 7, Windows Vista (SP1 or later), or Windows XP (SP 2 or later). You will also need Adobe Flash Player 8. This course can be taken on a PC or Mac. Computers that support the following browsers are adequate:
