Who should enroll: The material is relevant to people in the early stages of retirement planning, those who are close to retirement and those who want to better understand how to start planning for retirement.
Instructional Format: All four courses are instructor led meeting face-to-face at various locations in Central Florida. Classroom sessions are conducted in an interactive discussion format.
Course Materials: Each course includes workbook material containing practical exercises and examples to evaluate your current financial options and help you develop new ones.

Instructor Biographies
Chris Bordner was born and raised in Orlando, FL and is an Alumni of the University of Central Florida where he studied Electrical Engineering and played football for the Knights. Chris joined the Investment and Insurance industry in 1999. He holds numerous security licenses including Series 7, 63, 65, and 24 as well as a Life/Health/Variable Annuity license. In addition, he has obtained the profession designation of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) through the College of Financial Planning. He owned and managed an investment firm for several years before joining Wealth Solutions of Central Florida, a MetLife office, as an Agency Director. Chris was ranked 10th out of 250 Agency Directors nationwide in 2005, before deciding to focus exclusively on serving his private clientele. His current practice specializes in creating and implementing personalized strategies and solutions for affluent individuals and business owners. Chris has a passion for teaching and helping others and he meets this need as an Instructor at the University of Central Florida. Chris has a passion for teaching individuals who seek information on how to achieve personal and financial success in retirement.
Craig Townsend has been a resident of Central Florida for over 40 years. Craig joined the investment and insurance industry in 1991 and holds security licenses including Series 7 and 63 as well as Life/Health/Variable Annuity and Property and Casualty licenses. Craig is a Certified Financial Planner and has also obtained the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) through the American College. His current practice specializes in Financial Planning and Wealth Management creating and implementing personal strategies and solutions for individuals and business owners. Craig is a member of MDRT, NAIFA and SFSP. Currently, in addition to providing one-on-one financial planning assistance to his clientele, Craig offers workshops to student groups with Orange County Public Schools and Seminole Community College as well as a significant number of public and private employer entities throughout Central Florida.
