2012 Advanced Placement Institute Courses Offered:
This year presents a new challenge to both veteran AP Biology teachers and those new to the course. College Board has finalized their curriculum redesign for AP Biology, to be implemented in the 2012 – 2013 academic year. My goal is to provide all teachers with an understanding of the changes in the curriculum, the changes to the new national test format and provide an opportunity to conduct the inquiry-based changes to the laboratory component. I firmly believe the redesign represents a more authentic view of science as practiced in the real-world.
