1. How long does it take to submit my results to the state?
Results on a continuing education course are submitted in an electronic roster within 10 days of the completion date.

2. Is a certificate issued for completion of this course?
Yes, a Certificate of Completion is issued for each course.

3. What are the course requirements for Adjuster Continuing Education?
All Florida adjusters, whether resident or non-resident, must take 24 hours of Continuing Education approved by the state, every two years. Course content must include 2 hours-Ethics, 10 hours-Law and 12 hours-Optional.

4. May Adjusters use Continuing Education courses approved for insurance agents?
Only if those courses are specifically approved for Adjuster Continuing Education as well. Check with the provider or the Department of Financial Services to determine if a particular course is approved.

5. Is it possible to complete the entire 24 hours of Adjuster Continuing Education online with the University of Central Florida/Florida Insurance University?
Yes. All required courses will be available online.

6. What is the format of each course?
After registering, a student has access to a study guide and course materials for 30 days. The study guide gives the student the exact content that must be learned to successfully complete the course. At any time during those 30 days the student may sign onto the end-of-course quiz to complete the course.

7. What is a passing score?
A student must pass the end-of-course quiz by at least 70%.

8. Is the student required to be monitored during the test?
No. A monitor is not required for online continuing education.

9. Is there a discount on tuition for large groups of students?
Yes. For groups of 20 or more students, please contact the instructor, Dr. Michael Birzon, at (407) 927-1235.

10. Why don't I see anything when I start a module?
Some of the modules require a Macromedia Flash plug-in. You can check your system compataiblity below. Pop-up blockers should be disabled for this site to work properly. A new window with test will open.
