You have an opportunity to earn CEU's by reviewing the 2007 I/ITSEC Tutorials and selected paper sessions attended and completing the respective tests. Please see instructions labeled "How to Earn CEU's" noted below.
Continuing Education Units (CEU) were established in 1970 to create a unit of measurement to quantify continuing education and training activities. CEUs apply to technical and educational settings such as I/ITSEC. Continuing this year, CEUs are offered for selected I/ITSEC activities. The primary focus of I/ITSEC is to highlight innovative implementation of simulation and education technologies as tools to achieve cost efficient training and increased military readiness. It is therefore appropriate that CEUs be assigned to selected I/ITSEC paper sessions and tutorials. CEUs are being sponsored and maintained by the University of Central Florida, Division of Continuing Education (UCF-DCE).
"CEUs are a convenient and efficient way to keep track of my particpation in professional development activities." |
Why should I earn CEUs at I/ITSEC?
• Participation in the tutorials and papers for CEU credit reinforces your commitment to remain current in the evolving technologies relating to training and simulation
• The CEU transcript indicates your active participation in the technical program of the conference to your employer
• Previous attendees have indicated that CEUs assist in approval to attend the conference.
