In partnership with the academic, business and professional communities, CE provides local, state, national, and international clients with distinctive, high-quality and cost effective educational programs and services. The professional CE team is dedicated to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

The mission statement of the University of Central Florida specifically includes continuing education as one of its primary components. It identifies highly relevant continuing education as a means to address pressing local, state, national, and international issues in support of a global community. UCF's continuing education programs are designed and developed with this mission in mind.

UCF's Division of Continuing Education (DCE) participates in local economic planning and development meetings to assess business and workforce requirements of communities in the Central Florida area. DCE provides area residents with opportunities to learn new skills, complete courses leading to a degree, receive industry-recognized certifications, participate in professional conferences and seminars, and enrich their knowledge on a variety of topics and content. Furthermore, DCE partners with CareerSource Florida and its regional teams to respond to state and regional priorities for workforce development. Online programs offered by UCF's Division of Continuing Education reach national and international students. DCE monitors research and analysis in professional publications to ensure online programs support current and emerging workforce trends. Additionally, UCF's Division of Continuing Education delivers customized certificate programs for visiting international students and faculty seeking academic, cultural, and business knowledge of the Unites States within various fields of study. All of these programs play an important role in fulfilling the university's mission.
