Summer Reading Skills Programs for Children and Adults
These popular classes are taught by professional instructors from the Institute of Reading Development, in partnership with UCF since 2002.

University of Central Florida, Division of Continuing Education is proud to offer the Summer Reading and Writing Skills Program to families on campus and at 10 other locations throughout Florida. Since 2002, this program has helped students in our community build strong reading skills and develop a deep love of books and reading. The program is designed and taught by the Institute of Reading Development, a nationwide leader in reading skills instruction.
Due to increasing demand for at-home, online programs, all 2020 Reading Programs will be taught using our proven face-to-face live video instruction. At-home courses are available NOW!
