UCF Higher Education Coaching Academy 70-Hour Coach Professional   

The 70-hour Coach Professional training program includes the Coach Practitioner level training, with participants required to demonstrate and apply advanced coaching techniques and skills, including group coaching and coaching students through unique issues and challenges.

    Modality: Fully online, asynchronous, highly trainer faciliated

    Audience: Staff/personnel who want to utilize coaching methodology in their work with students.This coaching training course is intended for higher education staff and professionals only; anyone who registers for this course will be expected to work within, and be familiar with, higher education students, processes, and standards.     Students: Digital Certificate of Completion and Digital Badge; 7.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

    Learning Outcomes:

    * Includes all training areas of Practitioner level
    * Demonstrate and apply advanced coaching techniques and skills
    * Determine student-based issues/challenges that may hinder growth
    * Apply coaching to unique student populations and situations
    * Develop de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques
    * Employ group coaching for student support
    * Evaluate ethical situations as a coach and coach leader
