We welcome all levels of project manager into this program as the course offers a comprehensive approach, providing participants with application that they can apply to their everyday role.

TEXTBOOK AND MATERIALS 

UCF Continuing Education's program utilizes the CertWise® Learning System for PMP® Exam Preparation as its foundational course materials. These comprehensive reading materials and online study tools are aligned with PMP Exam Content Outline and are included in the course registration fee. CertWise is a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.®) of the Project Management Institute (PMI®). The textbooks and materials are included in the registration fee.                                                                                   

Included Comprehensive Reading Materials: Two printed books, also available online via eReader, containing over 800 pages of content, provide an in-depth exploration of the three domains tested on the PMP exam, including the Agile/Hybrid and Predictive content. These materials are organized into 6 modules including:

  • Module 1: Business Environment (Exam Domain III)
  • Module 2: People (Exam Domain I)
  • Module 3: Process—Design (Exam Domain II)
  • Module 4: Process—Primary Constraints (Exam Domain II) 
  • Module 5: Process—Secondary Constraints (Exam Domain II) 
  • Module 6: Process—Managing and Closing (Exam Domain II)

    Topics are presented in a concise, easy-to-understand format to cover the PMP® Examination Content Outline and the PMBOK® Guide—Seventh Edition.

     

Included Interactive Online Study Tools: Participants will have access to interactive online study tools for one year. These tools provide participants with an opportunity to apply and reinforce concepts, evaluate their knowledge, and monitor their growth throughout the course. Nearly 1300 practice questions are included in the following online tools:

  • Pre-test: Evaluate initial knowledge to identify areas of strength and weaknesses and focus studies.

    Note: The final two active lecture sessions will be on August 14th and August 28th. The gap in between these sessions provides time for students to finish any incomplete quizzes, take a practice test (optional), self-study, and prepare any questions for our instructors for the final review on August 28th.
